We cordially invite you to attend the 11th Electrochemical Power Sources R&D Symposium. (Formerly the Workshop for Battery Development)

The purpose of the Symposium is to:

• increase awareness of U.S. government agencies' programs, technologies, and applications related to advanced batteries, electrochemical capacitors and fuel cells;
• avoid duplication of efforts, and
• promote networking within government, industry, and academia in the field of advanced power sources.

The symposium will be held July 13 - 16, 2009 at the Pier V Hotel, Baltimore, MD.  The Pier V Hotel is located within walking distance of Baltimore Inner Harbor. There are 67 guestrooms, with many amenities including high speed internet access.

To maintain a technical symposium environment, attendance will be limited and early registration is encouraged. The registration fee is $450.00. Registration prepayment may be made by check, Visa, Mastercard or American Express.  Room rates for all attendees will be $157.00.  A block of rooms has been reserved for this meeting.  The cut-off date for these rooms is June 11, 2009 after which the hotel will return rooms not reserved to general inventory and provide them at the group rate based on availability.  Hotel reservations can be made by calling the 1-866-583-4162.
